In an effort to feel better, I am trying to stretch a lot. But how does stretching work and what does it actually do?  In this video I learned how important stretching is for connective tissue, not just muscles.

They also go on to talk about acupuncture and how it has similar results so stretching a lot, because as they twist the needle the connective tissue wraps around the needle and becomes stretched. Weird right!
