I have had lots of fun playing the song “apples and bananas” during the after school care program I assist with. There is around fifteen children and they all are getting to know the song and sing along. Even on the first day of me playing when I did not think I was so good yet they rated me a 13 out of 10! Haha! So far I have played the song for the children on two days during snack time. Then during quiet time after snack many of the children are curious about the guitar and I have let them strum one at a time while I change the chords. I also have done some free styling with different chords, and strumming or picking patterns during play time and it was great to watch some of the children dance along.
